KP-NUHW Bargaining Update, April 1, 2022
This message is being sent on behalf of Debora Catsavas, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, KFHP/H; and Darin Tankersley, PhD, Chief of Medical Center Administration and Operations, TPMG.
Today Kaiser Permanente’s negotiating team met again to bargain with NUHW. The discussion, which was cordial, focused on detailed review of a revised comprehensive package proposal the union presented. We will continue to review and consider the union’s package proposal, as well as a wage counter proposal the union presented.
Meanwhile, we are pleased to hear that NUHW’s Psych-Social unit in our Southern California region recently voted to ratify the tentative agreement achieved there and now have a new contract. We are committed to also reaching an agreement in Northern California that benefits our therapists and our patients.
Our next bargaining session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 5. We will continue to keep you informed.
