KP-CNA Bargaining Update, Week of Sept. 26, 2022
This week in bargaining, Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) continued making progress at the bargaining table, achieving another tentative agreement to bring the total so far to 25.
We appreciate the continued positive tone at the table with a singular focus on reaching an agreement that benefits you and our patients.
This most recent tentative agreement is designed to support both parties’ efforts to end ethnic and racial disparities in health care and to promote equity, inclusion, and diversity in the health care workforce. We are heartened by this tentative agreement, as we have a long history of commitment to and support of these values, and to providing patient-centered care.
We will continue to work next week toward achieving a contract that reflects our deep regard for you, our wonderful Kaiser Permanente nurses. Our next scheduled meeting with the union is Monday, Oct. 3. We will continue to keep you informed.
Thank you.
