KP offers NUHW bargaining dates; extends last proposal
As we have consistently said, we are committed to meeting with the union to reach an agreement that is good for you and good for our patients. To that end, we communicated with NUHW today, offering additional bargaining dates, Sept. 8 and 9, and we await the union’s response. We also told the union we will waive the time restriction on our last offer presented the weekend prior to the strike, making that offer still available for NUHW to bring to therapists. The offer includes an economic package that NUHW had agreed to, and an increase in time spent on tasks other than patient care from the current 15% to 18%.
We respect and value you and the compassionate, excellent work you do. Our focus continues to be reaching agreement at the bargaining table and ensuring our patients receive the care they need. As always, we are grateful for you and your calling to care, and we will keep you informed.
