KP-CNA Bargaining Update, Nov. 9, 2022

Our nurses continually inspire us and we are grateful for the care and compassion you deliver every day. Our commitment to reaching an agreement with CNA has never been stronger, so we want to provide you with an accurate account of this week’s activities.

Late Tuesday, we informed the union that we were not going to meet on Wednesday and respectfully suggested both sides use the reserved time to confer and continue working on proposals and counterproposals — independently — to bring back to the table today, Nov. 10. And KP has done so. We will meet today to continue bargaining, after which we will provide an update to you.

We expect to schedule additional bargaining dates so we can bring this process to a successful conclusion and achieve an agreement that recognizes and rewards our nurses, and meets our members’ and patients’ needs. We appreciate the incredible work you do, and we look forward to reaching an agreement soon.
