KP-CNA Bargaining Update #37

Yesterday, Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) met for the 37th day of contract negotiations.

What Happened

We’re pleased to announce that Kaiser Permanente and CNA reached a verbal tentative agreement on electronic bidding. This new agreement provides sufficient time for active nurses to take training on how to navigate KP’s online career website. In addition, the new agreement updates the contract to reflect current practice for nurses to use the electronic bidding process.

The parties also began discussing the transition to the new patient acuity system.

What happens next

Negotiations are scheduled to continue on Thursday, Jan. 18. We will continue to keep you informed.
