KP-CNA Bargaining Update #36

Today, Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) met for the 36th day of contract negotiations.

What happened

In response to concerns about electronic bidding, Kaiser Permanente gave a presentation about the KP Careers website and the educational support we provide to nurses on how to use the system to apply and bid for jobs, and to receive notifications about positions of interest to them. Kaiser Permanente also presented a counter to the union’s proposal.

What happens next

Today’s session concludes our bargaining for 2017. We look forward to resuming negotiations on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018.
