KP-CNA Bargaining Update #24

Today, Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) met for the 24th day of contract negotiations.

What Happened

In today’s session, Kaiser Permanente and CNA reached a verbal tentative agreement on removing expired appendices and side letters from the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Kaiser Permanente re-submitted our proposals to establish a telecommuting program and regional Professional Performance Committee and Nurse Quality Forum for Appointment and Advice Call Center nurses.

We look forward to reaching agreements on other proposals next week.

What happens next

Bargaining is scheduled to continue Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017.
