KP-CNA Bargaining Update #20

Today, Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) met for the 20th day of contract negotiations.

What happened

Kaiser Permanente presented the union with a framework that would include a nurse as a member in each medical center’s Integrated Workplace Safety Subcommittee, including participation in existing KP workplace safety training.

We made progress in negotiations regarding the Home Health and Hospice Professional Performance Committee proposal.

For the record

Both sides are continuing to work hard to find areas of mutual interest in order to reach agreement on operational proposals.

What comes next

Bargaining is scheduled to continue Thursday, Sept. 28. We will continue to keep you informed.
