KP-NUHW Bargaining Update and Recap of KP’s Enhanced Wage Proposal

Kaiser Permanente and NUHW met for our 27th bargaining session on March 22. KP presented more enhancements to our wage proposals that will further reinforce our therapists’ position as the best paid in their communities. Our proposal enhanced wages and lump sum payments in year 3. Below is an overview of our enhanced proposal:

  • Bay Area: 2.5%
  • Sacramento: 2.25%
  • Central Valley/Fresno: 2%
  • Sacramento: .25% lump sum
  • Central Valley/Fresno: .5% lump sum
Annual 3% maximum payout in addition to wage increases and lump sum payment

 

Year 2
  • Bay Area: 2.5%
  • Sacramento: 2%
  • Central Valley/Fresno: 2%
  • Sacramento: .5% lump sum
  • Central Valley/Fresno: .5% lump sum
Annual 3% maximum payout in addition to wage increases and lump sum payment

 

Year 3
  • Bay Area: 3% (increase from previous proposal of 2.5%)
  • Sacramento: 2%
  • Central Valley/Fresno: 2%
  • Sacramento: 1% lump sum (increase from previous proposal of .5%)
  • Central Valley/Fresno: 1% lump sum (increase from previous proposal of .5%)
Annual 3% maximum payout in addition to wage increases and lump sum payment
