KP-CNA Bargaining Update, Week of Oct. 3, 2022

At the conclusion of bargaining on Tuesday, October 4, we now have 26 tentative agreements between Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA). Significant progress has been made during all the bargaining sessions with CNA.

The bargaining process, pace and tone are positive and appropriate which we greatly appreciate. We are committed to reaching an agreement that benefits you and our patients, and we believe our discussions and proposals reflect that commitment.

Our next meeting with the union is Friday, October 7 and we hope to make even more significant progress as we continue to work toward achieving a contract that not only honors our entire extraordinary nursing team and attracts more nurses to Kaiser Permanente, but also upholds our members’ best interests.

Please watch for ongoing updates regarding our discussions at the bargaining table. We will continue to provide accurate information as we progress.

Thank you.
