KP-CNA Bargaining Update, November 3, 2022
Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) continued bargaining this week with additional proposal exchanges and discussion about operational topics. The tone of conversation was constructive, and two additional bargaining dates were set — Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 9 and 10.
This sustained progress is encouraging. Bargaining often involves incremental steps forward as each party devotes itself to finding mutual ground. We are committed to continuing to bargain in good faith with movement occurring during each session, and we are optimistic we can reach an agreement soon that provides competitive compensation and benefits, professional opportunities, and a work environment committed to your well-being and safety.
Thank you for your outstanding and inspiring dedication to providing excellent, safe, and compassionate care every day for our patients. We will continue to keep you informed.
