KP-CNA Bargaining Update, July 28, 2022

Today in bargaining, Kaiser Permanente heard presentations from CNA’s bargaining team on various staffing topics. The union presented several staffing-related proposals as well as a counterproposal regarding training positions, which we are reviewing. Kaiser Permanente’s bargaining team presented a proposal to clarify certain aspects of Section G of the contract, Voluntary Floating.

We look forward to continued conversation with the union to address nurse staffing challenges, and we remain committed to finding solutions that support our patients, members, and employees.

Our next bargaining session is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 2. We will continue to keep you informed.
