KP-CNA Bargaining Update, August 2 & 3, 2022

Progress is continuing in bargaining between Kaiser Permanente and California Nurses Association this week. The tone of negotiations has been professional, with Kaiser Permanente’s bargaining team responding to several union proposals, posing clarifying questions, and presenting counter proposals.

In addition, we signed a tentative agreement increasing the regional RN Quality Liaison Program from 40 to 42 members with the addition of 2 Patient Care Coordinator Case Managers, as well as two tentative agreements updating outdated contract language.

As of today, both parties have presented all non-economic proposals, and we look forward to continuing to make progress toward resolution with additional tentative agreements.
