KP-CNA Bargaining Update, Aug. 16 and 18, 2022

This week in negotiations with the California Nurses Association (CNA), Kaiser Permanente’s bargaining team entered into economic discussions with the union. After presenting our perspective on the current economic and competitive environments and their impacts on KP, we presented a strong economic counterproposal that acknowledges our current economic environment and our nurses’ wage position as compared to the local market.

We appreciate the constructive discussions that have been taking place at the bargaining table, and look forward to continuing momentum toward reaching an agreement that is good for our patients, members, and employees.

Our next meeting with CNA is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 23. We will continue to keep you informed.
