KP-CNA Bargaining Update #28

Today, Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) met for the 28th day of contract negotiations.

What Happened

Kaiser Permanente gave a presentation on our longstanding safety committees, which are intended to include representatives from all employee groups as well as management. We explained that the goal of these committees is to maintain an injury-free workplace, and shared examples of successful committee work. This topic continues to be a focus of discussion.

We are committed to having effective safety committees across KP Northern California and look forward to having more nurses join these important working groups.

 What happens next

Bargaining is scheduled to resume on Wednesday, Oct. 25. We will continue to keep you informed.
