KP-CNA Bargaining Update #16
Today, Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) met for the 16th day of contract negotiations.
What happened
- Kaiser Permanente presented a proposal for the organization to update the existing list of medical centers, medical office buildings (MOBs), and satellite MOBs in the collective bargaining agreement (CBA), with 30 days’ notice to the union, as KP opens, closes, or modifies use of its facilities in Northern California.
- The union presented no proposals today.
For the record
As of today, Kaiser Permanente’s bargaining team has presented all 11 of its operational proposals. The union previously indicated it would present the remainder of its operational proposals no later than Sept. 14. We look forward to receiving these proposals as soon as possible, so we can consider them in full, and respond to them.
What comes next
Bargaining is scheduled to continue Tuesday, Sept. 12. We will continue to keep you informed.
