Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) have a new five-year contract

We are pleased to announce that Kaiser Permanente nurses have voted to ratify the tentative agreement announced on March 17, and we have a new, five-year contract with the California Nurses Association (CNA). The contract reflects our respect for Kaiser Permanente nurses and the excellent care they provide to our members and patients.

The new contract represents KP’s and CNA’s shared commitment to high quality, safe patient care, and demonstrates our agreement on common goals that support the best interests of our members, employees, and our entire organization. Throughout the bargaining process, we remained focused on our strategic objectives of affordability while continuing to provide competitive wages and benefits to our nurses; providing nurses with opportunities for job growth; increasing our operational flexibility; and continuing to promote a professional practice environment that is foremost in the health care industry.

We are excited about moving forward and working together with our nurses to implement the new contract and further our mission of high quality, affordable care and service for our members, patients and families.
