KP-CNA Bargaining Update #26

Today, Kaiser Permanente and the California Nurses Association (CNA) met for the 26th day of contract negotiations.

What Happened

The parties reached tentative agreements on proposals regarding documentation of premium waivers, and eligibility for premium differential for those nurses who float between certain medical centers, medical office buildings, and satellite medical offices.

In addition, Kaiser Permanente presented a counter proposal on RN participation in regionwide safety committees.

We appreciate the progress made in bargaining thus far, and look forward to continuing negotiations.

What happens next

Bargaining is scheduled to continue Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017. We will continue to keep you informed.
